Clinical Services
Empirically-based clinical services are individually tailored to meet the specific needs of adults, couples, children, and families seeking assistance. I have special clinical expertise in assessment and treatment of disorders such as depression, mood, and anxiety disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, problem behaviors and addictions, and the full spectrum of behavioral and psychological disorders. I work with individuals who are adjusting to distress caused by life circumstances, who are experiencing developmental changes, conflict in relationships, conflicts at work, or distressing internal conflicts, as well as those interested in ongoing personal growth and self-improvement toward more healthy lifestyles. I endeavor to provide diversity competent, culturally competent, and gender competent services and I embrace a posture of appreciative inquiry, equality, acceptance, and respect for diversity of all kinds.
Assessment Services
Psychological evaluation and assessment services are individually crafted and tailored evaluations to provide data-based, science-based objective information to inform diagnostic clarification in areas of clinical formulation, disability, ADHD/ADD evaluations, cognitive evaluations for gifted program eligibility, accommodation for educational settings, assessment or testing accommodation, workplace accommodation, pre-surgical evaluation, adoptive study evaluations, and evaluations for many other areas.
Forensic Services
Forensic Evaluation and Expert Opinion Services include parenting evaluations, GAL services, court-ordered psychological evaluations, standard of practice review of parenting evaluations and GAL reports; it includes evaluations in civil litigation such as CR 35 evaluations, independent medical evaluations (IME) and evaluation of damages for personal injury in civil litigation; competency evaluations such as adjudicative, Miranda, and other criminal and civil competencies; mitigation prior to sentencing in adult criminal and juvenile cases; juvenile rehabilitation evaluations and other areas of forensic practice.
